Boston Red Sox third base coach Brian Butterfield joined Downtown on Thursday afternoon to discuss the off-season for the team. Butterfield talked about the health of manager John Farrell who left the team in the second half of the season to deal with his bout of cancer. He also spoke on the progression of the young Red Sox players like Xander Bogaerts and Mookie Betts and if Hanley Ramirez can transition to first base. Butterfield also spoke about his love for the Patriots and if the win over the Giants was better than the chance to beat Rex Ryan twice in one season.
