Dave O’Brien, the voice of the Boston Red Sox on NESN, joined Downtown from Cleveland to talk about the Opening Day “Rain” out and previewed the 2016 edition of the Sox. O’Brien seemed confused as to why they decided to postpone the game since it was just cold in Cleveland and not raining at the time. He spoke on the big line-up switch with Pablo Sandoval being benched for Travis Shaw and if that was the best thing for the team. O’Brien also spoke about how important it is for the team to start off out of the gate strong and told the story about meeting his idol Carl Yastrzemski.
